ABOUT ME

Me and Circe...I forget who's who.
I used to hate writing. My second grade teacher held me after school for a week after I tried to pretend to write a story for an assignment. She forced me to finish the project, but was impressed enough by the story I wrote that she helped me publish it in the school library.
I have been writing stories ever since.
My poems and stories appeared in school publications through middle school, high school, and on into college at Saint Joseph's University and Penn State Brandywine. Now my works have also been published in numerous online and print mediums.
I have a B.A. in English from Penn State Brandywine, where I currently work as a Professional Writing Tutor.
In the past, I have worked as a janitor at gas stations and factories, a flunky for a floundering department store, a news reporter, and an animal caretaker at the last honest pet store in Philly.
In my free time, I still work as a cat wrangler, taking care of my girls - Bella Luna, Circe, and Boots Jr. - as well as a number of foster kittens with the help of my fiance, Ellen.
